Enriched air, also known as nitrox or EANx,

Contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals. No wonder Enriched Air Diver is the most popular PADI® specialty.

Course Details

Duration: Two options for course structure.

Option 1: complete e-learning (3-4 hrs) plus a short lesson with one of our Gas Blending instructors giving you more theory behind enriched air.

Option 2: complete a 4 to 5 hour theory session with Instructor

Requirements: Completed Dive Medical Form, completed e-learning record.

​Requirements for certification: 

Discuss managing oxygen exposure.

Practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba tank.

Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox.

Supplied Items:  Gas Analyzer for testing
