Basic SUP

The Paddle Canada Stand Up Paddleboard Program begins with the Basic SUP skills course in calm sheltered conditions. The Basic SUP course introduces the novice paddler to safety skills, paddling skills, and overall knowledge of sport and safety equipment.

Advanced

The Advanced SUP skills course builds on the skills and knowledge gained in the Basic SUP course and introduces participants to paddling in more challenging conditions and to more advanced paddleboarding skills.

Advanced SUP can be combined with Basic SUP into a single course which progresses in steps to advanced touring skills on open water in rough conditions.
